After accidentally burning down the temple during his Bar Mitzvah as a youth, David turns away from Judaism and years later is nudged toward converting to Catholisism by his wife. To complicate matters, following his fathers death, David must finish his Bar Mitzvah in thirty days to receive his sizeable family inheritance.
